Guest guidelines
By following these simple guidelines, we can create an engaging, enjoyable radio experience for everyone.
-
We record topics that align with our own work here at TasCAHRD. We can also work with you on your topic of choice. Reach out to us with your question or idea and we can see if it fits.
-
See our previous episodes or magazines articles to get an idea of the topics we cover.
- Each episode runs for 30 – 45min. This includes our interviews and long-format stories.
- We also run a 7min series called ‘short cuts’. This does not include guest speakers but if you have a topic or question you would like answered or included in the weekly broadcast let us know.
-
Episodes are published monthly.
-
We aim to record in a timely manner from when you submit your request/topic. We are not be able to record every request, but will let you know either way.
-
Once we have finalised your topic or idea we will book a studio slot with you.
- Our studio is set up for video as well as audio. We would like to record the podcast and take cuts from the video for advertising. This is optional and if you do not want to be filmed we will record audio only.
- While we prefer to record at our studio as we have all the high-end equipment, we are also set up to record remotely at your location or dial in via phone.
Our community radio show operates with minimal editing, which means everything you say will be broadcast as-is. To ensure the best experience for both you and our listeners, please follow these guidelines while speaking on air:
